Slovenian resort Kranjska Gora has announced its summer season programme with a raft of innovative ideas to entice visitors, a special emphasis placed upon the biking fraternity who can under one ticket benefit from the varied terrain afforded by the bike parks situated at Vogel & Krvavec, complementing Kranjska Gora’s refurbished facility. There is also the prospect of descending the 1,500 metres-long ‘Besna(Furious) Pehta’ toboggan run, the 293 metre drop in altitude taking no more than five minutes.

The opening of Kranjska Gora’s lift system will initially be staggered, culminating in a fully operational service commencing on June 25th, the day Slovenia in 1991 declared independence from the Yugoslav federation.
